Largest DLP volume on the market: 450 x 371 x 399 mm

With the largest build volume on the market and an incredibly productive press, the Xtreme 8K is extremely agile and productive. The large build volume allows users to print very large parts, thousands of smaller parts, or both in one build.

Extremely fast printing speed

Designed as a production system, the Xtreme 8K has the print speeds needed for high-volume printing.
Incredibly fast print speeds are made possible by key features unique to the Xtreme 8K. Top-down printing allows for faster curing of each layer by eliminating the peel-off step required with traditional DLP systems. In terms of material polymerization times, the Xtreme 8K uses high-performance projectors and high-efficiency dedicated optics to ensure that high power is delivered to each voxel, resulting in fast polymerization

Isotropic material properties

Parts printed with the Xtreme 8K are fully isotropic, allowing the printed parts to compete with traditionally manufactured plastic parts such as injection molded plastic.
Unlike most additive plastic manufacturing processes, parts printed with the Xtreme 8K are made of intertwined long-chain polymers, resulting in strong, fully isotropic parts. This is a big difference from other processes like FDM, where parts are anisotropic with few or no polymer chains between layers.

Smooth surfaces

With the ability to achieve surface roughness of less than 1 µm RA, Xtreme 8K parts exhibit the surface finish required for end-use parts in a variety of industries.
DLP has long been known for its ability to produce exceptionally smooth surfaces on printed parts. The Xtreme 8K takes this a step further thanks to advanced DLP features such as pixel tuning that further improve surface finish. The Xtreme 8K also prints from the top down, meaning parts are fully immersed in the material during printing. This means fewer support structures are required, resulting in a better surface finish.
