Continuous high speed printing
The cDLM process enables continuous printing without the need to peel off each layer from the film after polymerization.
By introducing a thin layer of oxygen above the film into the print bed, a "dead zone" is formed. Within this "dead zone", the polymerization process is inhibited so that the layer to be printed adheres to the layer above and not to the print bed film. This "dead zone" enables continuous printing, where the build plate can move continuously in the Z-axis, resulting in faster and more reliable printing.

Best-in-class performance
The EnvisionOnecDLM produces end-use parts with properties that match or exceed those of traditionally manufactured plastic parts, such as injection molded plastics
Unlike most additive manufacturing processes for plastics, parts made with the CDLM process are made of intertwined long-chain polymers and are therefore completely isotropic. This is a big difference from processes like FDM, which create anisotropic parts with few or no polymer chains between layers. To produce these long-chain polymers, printers must be able to process high-viscosity resins, whose polymerization requires a lot of energy. Due to their high viscosity, these resins cannot be processed using the jetting process (PolyJet), and processing with vector-based polymerization (SLA) processes would take too long.
High resolution printing
The EnvisionOnecDLM offers best-in-class part resolution and accuracy to print incredibly sharp features and meet the tightest tolerances.
DLP is known for its incredibly high resolution parts and the EnvisionONE CDLM takes accuracy to a new level.
Using industrial DLP chips (as opposed to cheaper consumer chips) and a specially designed optical system, high contrast and minimal distortion of the projected image is achieved, resulting in accuracy down to the micron.
The cDLM printing process eliminates the "dome" effect and delivers incredible Z-accuracy.

Easy to use software
At the heart of the EnvisionOnecDLM is EnvisionONE RP, which streamlines the entire manufacturing process and ensures optimal part alignments, print settings and printer productivity.
Intuitive, easy-to-use EnvisionOne RP software automates support structure generation and part alignment, while an integrated file repair tool repairs meshes and prepares parts for printing. Cloud software allows users to remotely manage the system, send jobs to multiple printers and monitor job progress.
